NOC 4011 2014 FSW APPLICANTS FROM NIGERIA NETWORK

I want to know that i am working as lab instructor pharmacy under department of pharmacy an university and my Job Description shows university lecturer category for canada Immigration 2014 NOC 4011. If I apply NOC 4011 then it will be ok or not. Can u give suggestion it will be right decision to apply

Mostly, they expect PhD holder in this category. As I know, in India's colleges (not universities), even bachelor degree holder can work as lecturer. I am not quite sure whether it makes sense to say them as University lecturer because of their educational qualification.

By the way, NOC 4011, cap almost reached 830 mark. So please make it fast if you really want to be in the race. By the way, lab instructor title may not fall under University lecturer category in general. However, it is not my definite reply, just my guess.

even in canada only in basic sciences phd may be a requirement
in professionals like doctors and dentists, most lecturers and professors are master degree holders and with experience.

My application for 4011 reached on 30th Dec, If i get in the cap , It means everyone gets in....
I feel we all have a chance as this is not a hot NOC.

I also have a hunch that CIC is becoming picky about the applications.
Correct me if i'm wrong here, The FSW2014 spread sheet has stopped updating after 31st dec.
I don't see a single new entry in NOC By fee encashed date tab.
Also, CIC has also removed the application cap page for FSW 2014.

I read some where that with respect to CIC "No News is Good new"
So keeping my fingers crossed.
Keep you chin up folks, I'm sure we'l all make it.

Nika99. Sorry for the late response. He will be fine if the Employment letterhead reflects the name of the University. I hope that answers your query
