My college is ready to sent a detailed description of the syllabus. I have requested the alliance to accept the additional documents from the college. Not sure whether they accept it or not as they havent given me the option to sent the additional documentss this time. wait and see..
anybody done the PLAR before??? Do I have to write the exam or a notarissed statement would be enough to state that I read and undestood ( like context of physitherapy in canada)

The mode of evaluation of each module varies. It also depends on which institution you decide to do them. To the best of my knowledge, the Alliance does not run their own modules in the modules you have listed above. When the alliance gives you the available options for each module, they will give you the contact details for the applicable institutions. You will be able to contact each institution or visit their website to compare the learning and evaluation format. In some instances, there may be only one available option, in which case you will have no choice than to go through the evaluation method presented. This may or may not be applicable in your case; just saying.

have received the credential results yesterday, which shows I have deficiencys in following parts,

Neuromuscular systems (assessment/ physiotherapy diagnosis/evaluation)

cardiorespiratory systems(assessment/ physiotherapy diagnosis/evaluation)

This is because of the brief syllabus mentioned... My college refused to send the detailed course transcriptions...

they asked me to do the PLAR for the above...

Dear physio friend,
Hope you will get credential evaluation one day, it's not impossible but may be we will face some challenges, but don't disappoint yourself by this evaluation.
Could you please tell us how long it takes in credential evaluation? Secondly did you submit ielts results along with documents?

Thanks and regards
Could any one explain me about the PLAR in above... Do I have to do the course and attend the exam... or just to present a notarised affadavit like '' context of physiotherapy practice in canada'' to prove that I read and understand the topic.

Has anybody done it before....

Hello Ajis and all.Alliance modules are not available in your deficient area but Alliance could still give U options of the institutions where u can make up your deficient areas via online progs. Most of them are quiet expensive. I would advise u get your school send additional info in the areas mentioned. This could save u a lot of time and money. Yes The Alliance now insist on Test of english,IELTS or TOEFL whether your study is 105 percent english. You must present english score.

Exactly my advice as well.

Interesting position regarding the IELTS requirement. Does this now apply to all or are applicants from Anglo countries (US, UK Australia etc) still exempted?

Yes 9j, happy to know u are there.I pray you get your visa very soon. The Alliance still except guys from anglo countries,UK,Aussie and US from writing English test but other countries that used to enjoy a level of waiver upon evidence that your training was 100percent in english are no more allowed by the alliance.Countries enjoying this privilege b4 are the carrebeans,SA,Nigeria,HK.........And I am yet to hear from Accra.

If you are sendng the completed documents it takes about an year. You can accelarate the process by doing the context of physitherapy in canda during the evaluation period..

Alliance has given two more months to send the additional documents... If you have done your Bachelors or masters degree in an English speaking country you dont have to do the IELTS...

@ Ajis
irrespective of the country you earned your 1st degree you will still need to do IELTS Academic to complete your application. Just did mine today
