The awarding institution..... your degree should have your university name (rather medical college), as University issued degree (not a college). so check with University. Also you contact your university administration department & confirm this issue. My understanding is......University will be contacted.....

Disagree with you. My documents sent to my Medical College but not to the University (MBBS Degree was issued by the University). One of my friends' docs sent to his Medical College too. I don't have idea about others. : : :
