How much time will it take to get ECA report from mcc if I will apply tomorrow...?will it be too late ?

It will take 105 days for Asian countries. but it can be fast once you submit your documents after opening an account. they will change the status that documents sent for source verification and then you contact with your university / college and request them to expedite. once its done take the envelop ask them to put verified documents in that and request them to seal in front of you and then you send to MCC on your own via DHL, UPS or fedex its your choice. in this case you will save time and get your ECA early.

At this stage after verification from embassy you have to send to mcc. Once they (mcc) receive then mcc again send back to Pakistan to your college/university for verification. At this point u can't go to university as it's no point. Once mcc send to university u ll get notification from mcc and then u approach to university to expedite. I hope it's clear now...

My brother studied in a medical college for MBBS but the FINAL degree was awarded by university. In this case, will MCC contact the college or university for source verification???

There are new certification requirements on MCC website. Canadian embassies will not certify docs after May 30. Candidates have more options now.

Yes, you are right. One can choose one from the below:

• Authorized representatives at the Dean or at the Registrar offices of the candidate’s faculty (school) of medicine
• Officials at any embassy or consulate (Not after May 30)
• Notary public
• Lawyers (member of an official bar association)
• First-class magistrates, judges/justices of the peace

all those mbbs freinds....i have got photocopies certified of passport and degree...can anyone help in teling how to fill COVERS of passport which says

legacy document id .......


is visible to the candidate...



also in cover of degree certificate it says

legacy document id.....
is alternate medical degree.....

what has to be filled in front of them..or they r to be left blank....kindly help
