Any news regarding the charge yet dear? i have not heard anything and i too saw a december 30th application charged on feb 28th.

I am also waiting for the same. my application date was december 30th. but I see that a december 30th applicant has been charged on feb 28th on this thread. very tensed and worried..

I contacted my Bank today (Standard Chartered Bank, Bangladesh) about DD.
They told me The DD is transferred under Royal bank of Canada so CIC is going to charge from there and my bank know nothing about that charging.
How did you get yours? Any body from Bangladesh With DD?

CIC will inform you in your PER.
In my PER mail : "This correspondence also acknowledges receipt of your payment dated 7 February 2015 in the amount of $1,100.00 Canadian dollars. Your Payment Receipt No. is .......... "

DD cashed : 07-02-2015
PER received : 03-03-2015

DD's are generally cashed a week later than CCs of the same application dates. Those who use DD are not sure when their DDs are cashed because even the banks issuing them have no knowledge when CIC cashes them unless the drawee banks updates the transaction with the drawer banks issuing the DD instrument; which may take weeks( standard chartered in your case). Given the trend it is very possible that you will receive your PER somewhat around March 20 or later. Best of luck .
