NOC 2281 for FSWP in 2014, Let's network here

Hey friends,

Not want to disappoint anyone but I got a letter today from CIC stating my application wont be processed as it was received after the maximum of 1000 complete FSW app per NOC2281 was reached.

My CC was charged on 21 January .

It also stated that my application fee would be refunded .



Anyone had the same response..? Should I take it in way that the category capped?

Can you please post the text of the letter?

Hi pritish87, It's sad to hear that your application was returned to you but the news sounds strange at the same time. why in the first place should CIC go ahead other and charge your CC knowing that your Choosen NOC have been filled. My thought is that something must be wrong somewhere and I can't seem to figure it out at this point. Did you enclose all the required documents before submission

Btw, I can't find you on the global spreadsheet as per 21-11-2014 submission ?

Please post us the snapshot of your letter. You received letter thru email or thru post.

Frankly speaking I found it as suspicious.

I might not be able to answer everyone here.
even I'm shocked after I heard from you guys that someone from Dec got PER.

So I gave call to Cic today and they just told me same like they don't have any detail as they are just a call centre and forwarded me email with details of Sydney office that don't have email address just a link with postal address .

Also I have applied for FSWP within Canada and not outside of canada.. not sure if that make any difference.


nope I haven't applied with any consultancy, did my work on my own.

My question is why they charge you in 21st Jan if the CAP reached ? CIC procedures are very clear (As we know) that if the CAP reached they will just return the packages without any future action. No CC , No opening . Also one member has reported his CC charged 1st December ?

Have they return your package or just a letter ?

I am regular reader of this forum.I have applied under NOC 2281 and application reached to CIC dated 28.11.2014 but still far no information has been received. When I contacted to CIC regarding my application, they said they have no information about my application.. Well,now I am little anxious after so long waiting... I hope everything will be all right with all of us...and Hope we all will get per soon...Be Positive..

Whenever CIC sends return they will use general letter with will have all the reason for rejection at that stage and will highlight the correct reason in the hard copy. This is how i got the return for my first application on June 14. Now after adding those missing document highlighted in the return letter, i have send it back on 25th Nov 2014. For sure the cap is not full ....

My guess is the same letter is used for both CAP fill and some other reason for which he got return and so don't worry ... we are all in the game...

I called up CIC few minutes ago. Following is a brief of my conversation with the call center agent.

1) He confirmed that they had received my file on the 1st of Dec 2014.
2) He told me that my file is under review and advised me to wait a while to receive some form of communication from CIC by 1st week of march 2015.
3) CAP status of 2281 As of now sydney is acepting applications, so cap might not be filled.

richie_123, just to let you know that they did not found my application from their system. Hence, it was according to my representative that CIC received on 3rd December.
I don't want to judge them as I know my representative is a reputable agency and has 100% feedback from previous clients.

My concern does my application reach successfully as you know during December snow started. What if my application lost during deliver period.
I do not know as no acknowledgment has been given by my representative.

ya...i agree that it started snowing and even now it has kept its pace.....my application was received on 18th Dec 2014 by a person named Daniel and got this information when I checked with DHL.....kindly check with the postage (call center) guys so that they can reveal the information.....
