Hello everyone
I wanna apply in 10 days ..but it seems till Jun 2014, 242 applicants have got their PER...God knows how many application they have received till now ! do i have any chance ?some ppl say in reality ,2281 has reached its cap :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

You have to look at the stats and decide that for yourself. The rate of applications submitted would be gradually less starting the month of July.

Rest is your judgement call.

Hello Everyone,

Some guys from 2281 group saying that october end probably be the last dates for NOC 2281,but its only near about 240 applications are showing from the latest updated sheet.

Why people are saying this?

i sent my WIS documents yesterdayand my exam for IELTS is on 22nd November,so i have to wait for my second step till the end of november.
So,please guide me sir what should i do?

Hello,

my application received on Oct 09th 2014. Are there any chances to be in the cap ? Or would I lose it ? :'( :'( :'( :'(

because CIC is working on June applications as of now. Not sure what will be the completed application count by start of Oct. But looking at the application increase rate. it looks safe till oct end.

Situation will be more clear as CIC starts Sep Applications.

I do not see there is any harm or risk in trying even by Dec2014. If you are lucky you can just make it. Pull up your socks and try to send ASAP

Yes, you still have chances looking at the application completed till June submissions.

Thnks, but which system is better? As I understand FSW offers PR visa with/without a job where as express entry offeres PR visa only with a job?

Nobody knows what clauses will be introduced by the Express Entry Model. If you fit a NOC and you think the CAP trend is in your favor - go for FSW now. FYI - the FSW program will run until April 2015 and not December 2014.

nishesh3003, how can you be so sure about the length of this program ?

Because I have read CIC's ministerial instructions which is available on their website. You can also ask any other senior member in the FSW 2014 timeline and you will get the same answer.

Hi everyone
I'm under a lotttt of stress ..plz help me to decide

I am going to send my application in 7 days ( end of October) under 2281 ( computer network technician) ....since 242 applicants have applied till 9th June ....it seems risky ....do u think its better and wise ..to go and insist even plead to get experience letter from old employers under 2172 which has 73 applicants?

or now which 2174 has reached its cap ....remaining applicant try to apply under 2173 and 2172 ...and the growing rate of 2172 will speed up ? on the other hand after several years 2014 was the first year for 2281 ..and it also has huge number of applicants?

Hi everyone

spreadsheet shows 168 applicants have applied under 2281 and 39 applicants have got PER whilst CIC TABLE shows 242 applicants have got their PER ...I think it simply demonstrate that spreadsheet shows only 1/6.2 applicants under 2281 ....in other words we can calculate 168*6.2=1041 applicants have sent their package ...

AGREE OR DISAGREE ?

It would be the best case scenario to apply under 2172. On the other hand 242 are not PERs. 242 is the number of applications which have passed the completeness check. This is the analysis that members have come to following a June 26th applicant's CC charge for NOC 2174 (after the CAP hit 1000 last week).

I have sent the docs yesterday. What are chances for me?
