NOC 2021 for postdoctoral fellow

Hi folks,
I have more than one year of experience as postdoc. According to the NOC 2021, NOC 41200 (University professors and lecturers) includes postdoctoral fellows (same as NOC 2016). However, I only performed research only one of the job duty. Should I use this NOC 41200 in my reference letter or look for other NOC?

Dear AI, I am as post doc with NOC 41200 - while applying for PR should i use NOC 41200 or NOC 21110 as my past experience for 3 years in home country is as research associate - my duties falls under NOC 21110. please advise on how i should apply
