Hi All,

I have applied in the same category and my application reached on 12th September.

Has anyone applied under same category who have received any updates from CIC?

Regards,

Yeah.. I'm in... Thanks for opening this thread. Received my PER yesterday & my application was received 29 May'14. Please share any one else got PER as well.

Hi Guys,

I am also planning to apply under 1123. Can you help me on

1. What all documents need to be sent to WES for ECA? Do I need to send just the master's degree with DMC's or all the DMC's & certificates from 10th onward?

2. Does the final application of FSWP needs to be courierd by applicant to Nova Scotia?

Thanks in advance

1. If you have a masters degree then you need to send all the mark sheets and certificates for Masters and Bachelor degree. No need to send documents for 10th or 12th.

2. Yes, and its always better to use professional courier companies like DHL, Fedex etc.

Hope this will help you.

Thank you.

All the photocopies need to be certify by notory public or authrosied person. See "Who can certify copies?" in following link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp

Cathy , only those copies which are not in English or French needs to be translated and certified.

if your documents are in English/French , just photocopy will work..no need for notarization etc

thx

Hello Seniors,

I have applied under NOC 1123 and have a question with regards to job description.

I have 4+ experience in similar field. However, this is my third job. On my first and second job description letter, employer have only put 4-5 points points which are related to NOC 1123 requirement. However, on the current job my HR put almost 90% of job description on the letter. Do you think it might cause an issue for my earlier experience letters?

Already submitted my filed and reached CIC on 12th Sept.

Please suggest.

Regards,
Sarvesh

Even If photocopies are in English/ French then they still must be certified as per guidelines given on CIC website:

Certified true copies

To have a photocopy of a document certified, an authorized person must compare the original document to the photocopy and must print the following on the photocopy:

“I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”,
the name of the original document,
the date of the certification,
his or her name,
his or her official position or title, and
his or her signature.
Who can certify copies?

Persons authorized to certify copies include the following:

In Canada:

a commissioner of oaths (authority to certify varies by province and territory)
a notary public
a justice of the peace
Outside Canada:

a judge
a magistrate
a notary public
an officer of a court of justice
a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the country in which the person is living

Family members may not certify copies of your documents.

Hi Cathey,

I believe that the CIC requires unencumbered funds for the settling in amounts. I do not think that a loan against property is "unencumbered". It technically belongs to the bank while the property belongs to you. Also, financially, a loan is an encumberance, a liability not an asset.

Hi guys,
I haven't sent my spouse's education proofs in my application. Do we have to send these documents or not?
Thanks

Are you claiming points for spouse's education? canadian qualifications? then you should have sent it - otherwise once the PER comes in, you will be asked for it.

Sarvesh! :) Relax Bro. Its gone into processing. No point sweating it out now.

Lets weigh the options:

1. It is not a problem - What can you do? Nothing. Wait for the PER to arrive and I wish that you will get it soon enough!
2. It is a problem - What can you do? Nothing. You have to wait for the rejection letter and resubmit if there is enough time to do so.

We have all had the same insecurity but it will get better with time as the mind adjusts to the infallible truth that once you let the package go - there is nothing else to do other than WAIT :P

Hi Sarvesh,

Average processing time to get PER is 65 days currently. The people who are getting their PER now, are those who applied in May/June.
