NOC 1122 - After 26 July 2010 JOIN HERE PLEASE

Just checked with the bank.. My BD got encashed on Oct 7 .. hope to get the AOR soon..

Also I have some queries .. 1) Before relocating to India I had worked in Dubai for 5 years .. So should I start the process for PCC (from UAE) now.. I think it might take around 30 days if I apply from India.

2) Secondly, if suppose I move back to Dubai and hopefully I get my AOR, will I need to change my VO to Dubai/abudhabi.

Hello westwards,

Congrats on your payment acceptance and please could you tell me the process to check when the BD is encashed? And which bank did you get your BD from? I got mine from HDFC and the bank people have no clue about how to track this one.

Thanks for requesting to add my details in post 26/6 spreadsheet. I guess from next month people from July '10 batch will start getting AORs.

For BD tracking some banks in India are quite reluctant in disclosing such information (no reason explained) but if you insist, they will surely give you the information. Just simply visit (I suggest personally) your bank's foreign exchange office and meet the concerned officer there. I believe you would have got your BD from HDFC foreign exchange only. I visited my bank's foreign exchange branch and carried a copy of BD. This nice lady-at-desk first told me it's not allowed and stuff.. but I candidly told her that I need to check if my immigration processing has started and checking the BD status is the only way I can find out. Then she called someone in bank's Mumbai (Forex) branch and they told her that the BD got encashed on Oct 7th. Later she also confirmed it from her system that the bank's account has been debited. Hope this helps..

Just wondering... many applicants got their BD encashed in as early as 8 days from application date and some are taking upto a month. what can be the reason? Mine got encashed in 13 days.

definitely i'll try to do that I got the BD from HDFC branch in Chennai.

Not sure of the reason for dates and delay in en cashing though. It looks like things are random as of now Hope things will be clear, once the first AOR Post June 26 starts coming through.

Few Questions here

1. Does it mean these people got all the the stage qualified or processed (only AOR pending) or these are the total application received
2. 20000 cap would not reach before 3-4 months time
3. Some of the NOC have less then 50 number of applicant so they may never be full

Did some one compared this with our list, upto what extent we have accuracy. I mean it shows 700+ applicant in NOC 1122, where as we may have only less then 100 applicatnt with us.

I think these may the application processed till 19 Oct 2010 (received till Aug 2010) where as others are waiting in the queue. So if we take Sept and Oct 2010 the chances are the only one NOC (1122) would be over now.

They have mentioned completed applications received as of Oct.19th. So, I'm assuming these many have already passed the eligibility stage.

This worries me as this means that if I plan on sending in my papers within a months time...it would be too late!

Every assumption inidicates that they have 2226 applicants ready for AOR for all NOC. They are saying "Applications received toward the overall cap: 2,226 of 20,000 as of October 19, 2010" - and by calling CIO, we have known that they have completed until August 2010 eligibility review.

But, does it look right for NOC 1122? 739 applicants are already eligible for AOR? by August batch? Wherelese we beleive that post 26th June applicants volume should had been very low at least for a month (say complete July 2010) due to new requirements along with PCC. They removed PCC requirement later, but that is not before August. It should take considerable amount of time to finalize an application package with all these documents.

Now until August 2010, if 739 AOR for 1122 is right, then they must have recieved atleast 20%-30% more applications (given that, some were returned for completeness and some were returned for failure in eligibility). so, it looks like they have recieved more than 1000 + 1122 applicants in first two months (july and august), even with new rules and PCC requirements!

Something just doesnt feel right!!...

Well my take is:

The CIC has received these many applications as of 19.10.2010. but they haven't indicated about the 'complete' applications. So that number would be lower than 2,226.

One more thing, there are 29 NOCs, each with 1000 cap and overall cap is 20000 and not 29000; that means not all NOCs will be full..

Keep your fingers crossed... AORs are on their way.. just be positive and keep ur hopes alive..

Hi dsvrk,

Assuming you have taken the bank draft from India, which bank was it? I took mine from HDFC and having hard time here without any single valuable piece of info about the draft being en-cashed.
