back after a long time..was so busy with my work. I just noticed my details beside my name are blank. so here are the details..

received by CIO on 23.09.10
i ve sent them BD, so need to check the encashment status from Bank..

Experts and Seniors, need your valuable feedback.
Looking at the trend of applicants under NOC 1122, which VO would you suggest applying under? I have 2 options- London or New Delhi.
Which VO as per your knowledge has a bigger backlog?
From what I had asked last, I was suggested to apply for N.Delhi as my VO. Would you all still suggest the same?

As per my understanding, prior June 2010 backlog of India was greater, but according to new system cannot say much, guess they have to centralize it (due to CAP system), so I think any VO should take same time.

Maybe someone else has better idea

I meant the same job i.e my current job. Duties on application and reference letter being exactly same will cause any doubts or not?
YES, IT SHOULD MATCH/BE THE SAME WORDINGS OF REFERENCE LETTER

I did my graduation from India so getting trascript in sealed evelop from there will take time.

My masters is from London, Uk and I can get the sealed trascript in a day.

Do you think it would be okay if i incude a letter explaining the delay in sending graduation transcript in sealed evelop and include the unslead along with masters sealed to save time.

I know this is a risk but it might be more risky to wait!!!

BETTER WAIT AND GET THE THINGS DONE AS PER REQUIREMENT. CANADIAN VO ARE STRICT NOW I GUESS. BESIDES A PROPER DOCUMENTATION LOOKS BETTER WITH MORE CHANCES. IF I WAS YOU, I WOULD GIVE WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR BUT NOT APPLY (THEY KEEP ALL YOUR RECORDS, SO BE CAREFUL WHATEVER YOU SUBMIT)

I think I will be able send the application by thrusday or friday this week and then cross everything that I have not missed the boat this year!

I have come back with more questions. Apologies for so many but I need to make sure that my understanding is not wrong! Thanks in advance.

My questions -

I get max points for education 25, max for language 24, max for age 10 - total now 59.

My query is now for work exp. I have completed one year exp in the qualifying NOC which gives me 15 points. So my total points now - 74.(please let me know if I have missed something here or over calculated)

My previous work exp is under the same NOC and with the same organisation but I was working part time then and it was a temp job. I did this job for 3 years (1.5 eqv FT). I can get a reference letter indicating this and my job responsibility but there was never a contract. Should I mark this job for assessment and claim points for the work exp? or it is better to give the ref letter and not claim the points?

My second question is -
If I send my original contract, does it still needs to be notarised?

Third question -
My degrees - I have come to an understanding that I have to send the original degree? Am I correct? I have sealed transcripts from all my universities.

Fourth question -
They haven't asked for job desc. Would it be advisable to include that anyway?

i tried at the bank.. they refused for the details.. i ll try to get it done thru one of the acquaintance i have in the bank..

Meanwhile, i am making rounds at the MRO office ( need his stamp for the PCC)

Well contact the treasury departments of your bank or Go there with copy... they can tell you coz branches no nothing about that..

same happened with me... but when i contacted International Team ... they provided me the date of encashment...

Hi, I sent my package today. Applied for NOC 1122 & 0631 (in that order).
VO: Guatemala, bank draft enclosed, sent IELTS 8.5 general band, no PCC sent.
Hope to hear form them at least before the year is over!! Think I´ll be that lucky???? Hope to share with you guys now that the long wait begins!!!!

I am working in DXB and since all my documents (work certificates from past jobs, school records and bank statements) are in the Phils, its causing me delays and the cap might be reached even before I finished gathering my docs!

Just 2 questions :

1. If the cap is reached, will they automatically reject application and close the NOC? will they refund the fee (550C$).

2. all my university papers (diploma, transcript and cert of completion) were notorized attested / notarized in Dubai/ Phils 5 yrs ago, do i need to get new papers since the transcript is not in a sealed envelope?

Hello Secretary,

1. Yes, once CIC decides the CAP is reached, they will return the application. For people, whose applications are opened, passed completeness checks and payment is accepted, they too have a chance for not making it into the CAP, and so their payment will be refunded and their application will be returned. (Please note, it is not rejection and you are welcome to apply anytime after that)

2. All university papers has to go in a university sealed envelope and that is what being stressed upon these days. Yes, they do accept notarized documents, but again, that would mean additional delay in processing the application as they have to do the genuineness checks themselves. University sealed transcripts speak for themselves and so there is less time spent on checking the genuineness of the documents.

All the best for your application . As of today, we have not got any indication that the CAP is full for any NOC from CIC and so, there is a good chance for you to apply. Gather your documents and apply ASAP.

I have one question I have MBA with 5 years experiance and I have more than five years experiance in plumber befor MBA means from 2000-2005 I work plumber after that I compelet MBA.my question I apply under 1122 or 7251.

Just checked with the bank.. My BD got encashed on Oct 7 .. hope to get the AOR soon..

Also I have some queries .. 1) Before relocating to India I had worked in Dubai for 5 years .. So should I start the process for PCC (from UAE) now.. I think it might take around 30 days if I apply from India.

2) Secondly, if suppose I move back to Dubai and hopefully I get my AOR, will I need to change my VO to Dubai/abudhabi.
