NOC 1122 - After 26 July 2010 JOIN HERE PLEASE

Can someone please help me with my plight? I am starting up with the application to apply to Canada under Federal Skilled Worker Class but am confused. I work for a MNC FMCG Company in Karachi (+7 yrs of experience)as a Marketing Manager (19 yrs of education)but not sure to show my profession as 1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management or 0611 Sales, Marketing and Advertising Managers? The latter does not exist in the list of 29 eligible occupations but 1122 does. Appreciate your help.

1. Who know quantity of NOC 1122 apply after 26/6 untill now is how many? Now still in 1,000 applications or over?

2. My points is 74 but IETLS just overall 6.0, is it okey?

Please just share 1122 information too.

No one knows about 1000 CAP
If you are getting 67 point or more with the current IELTS band then it should not matter

My NOC is 1122.

I prepare sent document for apply FSW.
But I have some question just want to share:

1. Who know quantity of NOC 1122 apply after 26/6 untill now is how many? Now still in 1,000 applications or over?

2. My points is 74 but IETLS just overall 6.0, is it okey?

Some consultants say marketing manager comes under 1122. I do not believe this as per my understanding.
Ultimately choice is yours, if you want to try .... God knows better !

actually i ever asked here questions and issues faced by my frends and cousins..now i am writing about my own query..plz guide me..my details are:
age...10 points
ielts..12 points
experience...21 points
relative in canada...5 points
education...22 ...points
total...70
i am in noc 1122...as i have done MBA marketing from allam iqbal university but i have regularly attended classes for mba in regional campus at faisalabad...if i also attach letter from that college that i have been regular student there and attended 15 hrs per week bcz i was regular but on transcript it is not mentionaed that i was regular ..if i will provide such a letter then will they accept my studies and give me 22 points
moreover,if they will not give me point but will they consider that as i am working under noc 1122 so my studies are according to my degree...or there is no weightage for my aiou degree
another most important thing which i want to ask..that as i did my mba in 2003 and then i started job ..in march 2010 i appeared in viva and got transcript as i had only passing marks sheets for each semester...but on transcript it is written:
results declared on mar 2010
but passing of each semester year is also written like:
autmn 2002
spring 2003 etc................
i know they say that they accept experience(which is related to studies) that is after studies ,,my experience is according to my mba degree as it is noc 1122...but what they will they that due to the gap between my passing exams and viva(result declaration) they will never accept my experience
plz tell me what i do plz help ireally need it urgetntly as i want to apply soon

Nothing to worry ... the procedure
1. Get letter from your University that your degree full is for X years and you did it in part time spread over X years.
2. In the letter mention that you attended regular classes in campus

Would you know of anyone in the FMCG Marketing professional who might have recently got Canadian PR or atleast applied for it who can help?

Personally - strictly my own opinion : do not apply this year under 1122 as it has more chances to waste your effort and money.
Wait next year, new NOC might get updated and see if you have new listed NOC
Alternatively
If you can get an arrange employment from Canada then apply

At this point, the advice of fromdubai to wait until next year seems sensible but there is another fact to be mindful about.

I feel as soon as current 1000 CAP is full, CIO will not reject all left over applications but treat them on priority basis when the next (Yr 2011) CAP will open.

And if that happens, all those who would apply next year would be farther than now to get into.

Regarding the 1000 CAP, mostly are guesses. I think there would not be any priority next year, as they would not make any database of the same

So what do you think they would do with applicants who were eligible for NOC 1122 but couldn't make it as CAP got all full??

I guess all those leftover eligible applicants would be treated first when the CAP opens its next quota of 1000 in its 2nd yr.

My opinion : they have not yet begin opening application received after Jun 26, 2010. By the time they will open, it will be already over 1000 CAP (most probably by Nov 2010/ onwards, I guess) and balance they will return back. I heard one consultant based in Toronto that they might keep the applications for next year (but I understand he is also guessing). You have to also understand that Canadian Immigration is also upgrading their policy from time-to-time, so no one know what will happen.

UK has better system, CAP per month. If this month you cannot, then apply next month. Maybe Canada will learn too from them

I think that it is no matter, it is still not full quota. Because 1,000 is for the applications who get conditions as they requested and from 67 points more.

So don't worry, quickly apply but fully and careful in prepare documents.
