NOC 1112-1113 Financial and Investment Analyst vs Financial Broker

Hello Everybody,

I have question regards to NOC 1112 and 1113 and my situation. In my labour contract and recommendation letter signed by my Boss, my position stated as Financial Analyst, but actually I am more likely to be a Technical Analyst - dealing with charts, trend and act as a trader for senior customers ( I can be called as a Senior Broker).

Under which NOC can I apply? If I apply for 2 NOCs I have to prepare 2 sets of full docs? In case I'm not eligible for any NOCs,will be fee be returned?

Please help me on this case. Thanks a lot/ Wendy

You must first check out main duties in NOC classification for both occupations and figure out where you belong.
Essential duties for 1113 is trade and, for 1112 is making charts and analysis.
Another thing, 1112 is almost full, if not filled already

Compare the duties in your reference/contract against those listed in each NOC. Your fee would be returned if your were not eligible.

Thank everybody. Maybe I'm too late for 1112 since I'll have IELTS result on 23rd and haven't got credential from ICAS yet . My duty is kind of mixed up, chart, analysing, trade...little but confused

I hate to tell you this, but you're far too late to apply for NOC 1112.

Try to fit in 1113 or 1114 instead

If it's not your primary NOC you don't need to bother much if your actual duties match with those of a NOC. All you need is to convince CIC that you've been doing full-time paid job so that they'll count it toward the overall working experience.
Just provide CIC with a letter drawn as per their requirements

my reference letters are drawn according to my country's business practice which may probably differ from that of India.

The thing is that people apply from all over the globe, that's why there cannot be any single template. If your company issues it according to it's internal rules and policies - thats fine.
The only thing that matters is that all the nessesary information is included in this letter and it suits CIC's requiremens.
