Any paid working experience will be concidered if you provide solid evidence for it (reference letter).

Your actual job duties shall be relevant to those of a NOC descroption (in case of primary NOC they MUST mach with NOC description). Job title and type of company are not that important.
You can apply as a database admin even if your worked in export/import company as long as you performed duties of a database admin.
