Noc 1111 or 1122

we are in the process of applying as FSW and my question is whether my husband would apply under noc 1111 or 1122?

he has over 5 years as an accountant, but as we all know its a regulated job and its not what he wants to do anymore. in the mean time he got his MBA but has less than 1 year experience as a business management consultant (1122), and he's doing as freelance not through a company so no references.
Also his job as an accountant didn't include all whats listed in the main duties, or you can say all but not in the exact same words if you know what i mean.
My inclination is to apply as noc 1111 but is it possible to put both?

For FSW Category 1 application purposes, what he wants to do in the future doesn't matter. Once u land in Canada, you can flip burgers in McDonalds if u like.

In the form, you have to fill in all the employment details since the day he started work. So u will fill in 1111 for his 5 years employment as Accountant and 1122 for for his ~1year exp as Consultant. He will be automatically selected under 1111. (i too had several years' experience in two NOC categories, 0213 and 4131, both which are in the 38 list).

You dont need to have ALL the duties listed in the job category as your responsibilities. Nobody has the exact matching set of words in their JD. If he has most of the description as his responsibilities (at least if he can get a letter from his previous employer saying so) then he's in teh clear.

NO.
But if ur working as an accountant, obviously u will have some qualification in the field (certifications, professional memberships etc.) so u can send copies of those, to be safe.

Thanks for your reply I have done some diploma and advance diploma in business adm that all from my studies side I have worked as tranning accountant and now accountant what do you think it is safe to apply instead of getting rejection.

Yeah it should be pretty safe. Send your educational certificates (transcripts/notarized copies) and necessary letters from your employers.

I am working as an Internal Auditor however, my qualification is MBA (Finance). as far as i understand NOC no. 1111 showed Internal Auditor as a category, on the other hand NOC 1122 showed services to Managament consultancy etc. which is also part of my job.

Choose what best matches your current JD and which can be supported by your education docs. My opinion.... but that is what i did.

Do you need to be a CPA to apply for this?

Coz I know someone who is a Tax Analyst but he's not a CPA.
Is he eligible?
