May be. I am also 0711. Submitted document in April 2010.Did medical in September 2010. Even though the VO wrote to me they would put my application on fast track, yet up till today no PPR and medical has expired.

Good to hear that you did your medical. But it has been more than one year.....why are they taking so long? Have you contaced with your visa office?

The last email I received from the VO in October stated my application is with visa officer "under review.'

U are a 2009 applicant.. No wonder u did ur medicals... luking at the time lines shud we wait for another few more months for medicals

hi all the above link a message was recevd in one of the posts displaying all the NOC's .. u can notice that there is no mention of our NOC 0711 in the list .. Does this mean that the cap has been reached long back & hence there is no progress in our File...
Wud like the reply from seniors who have a thorough insight of the working pattern of Visa Office..
What is the CAP level if at all there is a level... okay 2011 is gone...
what will it be for 2012...?? the ecas says IN process --- if so for how long ??
Will at all our NOC -0711 will have some meaning ...??
What shud we do to know our status...??
Pls clarify..!!! - Qorax, Saki, starali,....or any others who know - Ur reply will help us a lot...

I think you didnt understand what I posted earlier..Once again read this:
Offcourse,0711 NOC is not there from June 2010 onwards in the new NOC list of 2010 & 2011 but it doesnt mean that we wont be processed.As we can understand it's not in the new list means there isnt much vaccancy for the profession but CIC has declared before that prevoius application will be processed taking more time.
Relax and keep patience.By end of 2nd Quarter of 2012 you will be through.

2 NOC means 2 applications exist. Now I also have 2 NOCs as I just applied again under 2151.

Yes its possible if any NOC in the present list suites you. The file no of previous one is mentioned in my last application. After processing of one of the two files, another can be withdrawn with refund.

Regarding two NOCs:

I do have an experience in Projects-construction which follows 0711 & also having an experience in Utilities-NOC 9212 as a mech engineer.I've worked in both of the field for a couple of years so I've mentioned and made my application showing both the experience & NOCs.
Hop it helps and It does not mean that I do have two files or two applications.
