Bad for us .. all the IT people, but the issue was most of the Graduates were able to justify their claim for 0213
the main reason for removal of 0213 from ocupation list

I dont think canada government cant afford the 0213 because they were aware of the number of application of 0213 before june 2010,so if they cant afford then they might have close 0213 before june 2010!!

they dont have any data of IT graduates in Gurgaon, Kharagpur, Mumbai and years of experience they got.
until they got the enormous amount of applicants from 0213, they had no idea about it.
Their replies reflect that very clearly.

There are people who are misusesd the NOC 0213.......... and it is shame on them who did that.

But one thing is clear..... IT is ruling the world now..... keep in mind.

World economy has not grown at all comparing to the influx of the IT graduates, especially in China, India and rest of the world. resulting in the delay of PR applications getting processed.

I guess no. Completely stalled.
They are mute at the moment for 0213's
if they feed all the awaiting 0213's now into Canadian job market, their college graduates would be sitting ducks with no eggs. they dont wanna do it. lets stay hopeful.

I think more than the market, it's the volume which has slowed down the process..When you receive 3 times the volume of data than what you expected to receive, this is what happens

Exactly , they have indeed confessed that they had to build new inventory to store all those files.
They couldn't throw those files away for constitutional bindings.

in Ontario, its hard to find jobs these days. the scene is not too inspirational at all.

I think since UK has really cut down on numbers for immigration, same was done by Australia not so long ago and with US, it's process of getting H1B and then, hoping that you eventually get a green card. I think so people are with only left with Canada as a plausible option.

I think this will take a next 6 months easy (my file still shows in process)!!!!

exactly. applying to Canada was quite easy for a lottt of people and here we are seeing the bad effects of that. there are plenty of holes in the system and people are taking chances from them. the screening process is too weak. we the real applicants are suffering for those fake applicants with fake certificates, experience papers.

That is the reason that they have stopped taking people from this category (this was implemented in mid-June 2010)
