I called CIC yesterday and they told me my file is "In Process". I am unable to get information from Thomas Cook about my draft status. They have no clue how to track it. They agent said you should wait till March 15 or 17. After that give us a call.
I asked them if my application is return due to cap and he said that is not the case.

Pleaes update your profile timeline in right pane under your profile name it will display.

Moreover who is "Thomas Cook" and whether you submitted your application through a consultant/lawyer?
You mean the agent in the bank told you to check draft status on 15 or 17 to know whether it is encashed or not?

I sent my application by myself. Didn't use a consultant or lawyer. Thomas Cook is foreign exchange institution, I got a demand draft from them but they have no clue how to track its status.

CIC agent told me to wait till March 15 to 17. He said if you don't hear by that time then give us a call. After calling CIC multiple times the common answers I got are:

We have received you application and is under process.

We have received your application but it has not yet been opened.

Your application is "In Process".

Your application has gone in for a scan but no decision has been made yet.

I also asked if it has been returned and they assured it is still with them. Really don't understand what is going on.

I guess its a good news for all of us since "in process" is equivalent to acceptance. Is my understanding correct?

I think they are processing all applications at once and want to complete review of all end of the line applicants
CIC want to close the NOC 0013 for 2014.

May be cap is about to reach and they working on which application to accept

When you call CIC again, ask for UCI Number or Immigration File Number. Because if your file is "In Process" they will provide you your UCI number or Immigration File Number and you will be able to check your file status through ECAS.

I have the UCI number but the ECAS is not active. The lady who gave me UCI number clearly mentioned that it won't be active before 10 March. I guess I have to wait.

Yes there are some Canada exam you can write from Nigeria

If you already have CSCP certification , Do you still need to write any exam to get the supply chain professional designation in Canada :o

I am already doing CIPS here. I'm currently on level 5. Great news if CIPS is recognised there. Thanks a lot.
