No response to visa application yet - 1 month

I have applied for Visitors visa early last month. It's being more than a month but still no response. Average processing time for local consulate is 13-18 days.

I have already emailed them but only got a generic response.

What are the available options for me?

There's really nothing you can do but wait. The posted processing times are estimates and it's not uncommon for processing to take several months.

The normal processing time is 3-4 months if they consider your application for Visa.... CONSIDER...
Its better to wait patiently and remain very calm.

the one who applied also one week ago here in the philippines got a visa already.

i have been in 1 month waiting already.

I understand that waiting for the result is not easy but you can’t really compare. Each application is different from the other. Goodluck

True, Every application has different factors and scores. There are some backlog issues as well as security concerns in CA which cause random checks on different applicants. They are not asking us to apply, its u , me and people like us who wants to visit CA for family, study, friends, job, settlement or trying to get slip. You cannot go into the mind of every applicant obviously.

I have applied on Jan 25th 2018 .
I have seen in this forum that many ppl are getting medical request within 1 week .
Not sure what is the normal wait time ?

Did you get anything. I applied on jan 3 and Still waiting . They didn’t even reply to my concern.

Background checks may takes some time so no need to worry.
