No more CEC draws in 2021?

Its been more than a month with no CEC draws. Are there going to be no CEC draws anymore in 2021? Was there a quota that is not filled? What are your thoughts?

No one knows. IRCC is prioritizing Afghan Refugees right now.

Maybe one or two more, if any, at the most.
IRCC have an almighty backlog, and the Afghan crisis to tackle right now. They could realistically limit the remaining draws to PNP candidates and still achieve their 2021 goal for landed immigrants.

No one knows.

The quotas are irrelevant since the quotas are for the number of people who were fully approved for PR. Anyone who gets ITA now won't be fully approved for PR this year and won't contribute to this year's quota.

Would be nice if IRCC could say upfront how many draws they are planning to do in a given time frame for a specific stream, would have helped people plan better. People who are on a 1 year PGWP and have limited time might have to quit their jobs and go back to their home country now if there are no more CEC draws this year, which is a significant upheaval in their lives and causes so much stress. Don't understand how that helps anyone.
