So your employer is going to cover the costs of the medical exam? wow, that's great! How about the CEC application fees?
It cost me $170 for the physical + $38 x-rays.

CEC application is not related to medical facilities...........so
Guess its less than $250......I hope I will get cover for medical exam.....

Wow, I didn't even think of submitting it under my extra insurance...and I have double insurance (myself and through my husband). I should see if one of them is willing to pay up.

My cost breakdown, for those interested:
$250 for medical exam
$40 for chest x-rays
$100 for bloodwork

Altogether...$390.

Why there is difference between cost of getting medical done ? I got it done in $155 - everything !!!

I got them done in Ottawa, from Dr. Juan.

$155 included everything? wow, great price.
Here in Calgary the prices are: $170 physical exam + $40 (blood, urine) + $38 x-rays

well, don't you remember what kind of test did you do? Here in Calgary, the physical is done at the doctors office, then you have to go to a separate location for x-rays, and a third location for blood test. These were in the same building, but still not all done in doctors office.

Blood test and physical test was done at dr's office ($125) + Chest x ray he sent me to some other location who charged me $30 !! Hopefully am good !!
