No Letter of Employment?

Is it okay to send my application papers without Letter of Employment? I just got hired but I received one Payroll receipt already..can i just send that one instead of letter of employment? my manager is so busy like literally busy.

I would take the time to ask your manager to write a letter for you. If you explain what it's for, I'm sure that there wouldn't be an issue. If CIC are asking for a letter of employment, give it to them. You don't want this to be the reason for delays or further questioning which could delay your application in the future.

thats gonna take a really long time ive asked him for over a month now and still no time for him to make me one..i thought having a job is not necessary for sponsor application.

I have my pay stub though.

how about if you wrote the letter, printed on letter head and asked him to sign it. or do you have an HR department? Technically, they are the ones that would be writing the letter. Go to them instead.

I didn't send an employment letter because I didn't want my boss to know yet that I will be leaving. I did send this years tax return and 12 months of pay stubs. I would think though that because you have not been at the job long you should try and get that letter to send

I would go to your HR and ask for a letter even if you haven't been working there all that long. CIC asked for a Letter of Employment and paystubs for my husband. Turns out CIC actually called his employer to verify the employment after we sent it in. I didn't think it was a requirement either but the day after they called I went to Decision Made on ECAS.
