What are you doing in SK? A quick search at indeed.ca reveals that most of the System Admin jobs are in ON , QC , BC and AB. Time to move out of SK :)

Toronto, ON (100)
Montréal, QC (77)
Ottawa, ON (40)
Vancouver, BC (34)
Mississauga, ON (18)
Calgary, AB (17)
Markham, ON (13)
Burnaby, BC (11)

Once you land as PR in Canada , Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedom protects your mobility rights and you can settle down in any province

SINP officials can say whatever they want but they are not above law. Canadian law allows you to settle down in any province and it's up to you if you want to keep looking for IT jobs in a place where IT job are scarce or move to greener pastures :)

Are you part of the Saskatechewan Newcomers whatsapp group? If not, join it and talk to others who landed in 2015 and 16. They've got jobs in Regina and Saskatoon. It is hard but possible.

Hi .. Though i am a bit off-topic and advanced, i couldn't refrain myself asking here.

My bachelor is in Computer Science and Masters in Business Administration, serving in the IT Division of a Commercial Bank. Recently I have been nominated for SASKATCHEWAN province under NOC 2171. Now waiting to apply for PR at CIC.

Meanwhile, following queries come up in my mind which needed a clear vision::
1. Is it worth to do any certification course before migration or to enroll into any university degree after migration ?
2. Since the nomination is under 2171, which course category is more demand-able ?
3. What might be the primary living cost at Saskatchewan with minimum facilities ?
4. Is it possible to get any quick (ODD) job so that a 3-member family can survive initially ?
5. What is average wage/hour ? and what could be the monthly income (approx) considering full-time/part-time/contractual jobs ?

Please suggest your expert opinions and links, which might help me to plan well in advance. Thanks..

Hello,

My wife and I got VISA recently through SINP Nomination Programme and we need to travel before July 2017.

We both are working in IT and started applying for jobs through Linkedin and few other sites however could not see enough jobs for our profile (Process/Quality Assurance, Project Management & Business Analyst).

I have below questions:

1> Are there any sites through which we can apply for jobs in Saskatchewan?
2> If we get a job in Saskatchewan, for how long one needs to work there and can then shift to other Province?
3> If we dont get a job in Saskatchewan, is there a provision/law to work in other Province?

Hello Admin,

Please add me in Whatsapp group (+918007104343).

Looking for a response.

Thanks & Regards,
Abhishek Katyal
