How did u get USA pcc?

Did u apply for FBI clearance?

Hi mrp1986
My husband needed PCC from USA, he went to local police station for fingerprints and then send those with required documents (on FBI website) to FBI. He followed the link starting from CIC website : How to get police clearance.
Please refer to this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/north-america/united-states.asp
Hope this helps.
Also do let me know if you come across any additional info on getting PCC from USA.
Thanks

I applied for PCC from india this month on march 6th, since there is no more tie-up b/w vfs and high commission ottawa I applied by BLS (a new company who replaced vfs in canada.) The lady told me it will take around 10 days so far I havn't got any response from them anybody have anyidea on how long it can take as my pr application has been delaying because of it.

I applied last month through VFS and it took like 4-5 business days.. The lady did tell me that they will close on Feb 28th. I have no idea about the new company.. If she said 10 days, well than today is your 10th day.. Try calling them tomorrow or track your application status if they have a system online..

neetu1, BLS website says 4-6 weeks but you can always send your application without the PCC and attach a proof of the receipt and copy of ur pcc application form which you submitted to BLS that you are making all efforts to secure a PCC. You would surely receive the AOR and then you can send the PCC then.

Application without PCC is acceptable and AOR will be issued if all other docs are in order. Attaching proof of receipt / copy of pcc application will not serve any purpose.

Thanks alot everyone actually I called them and they said we will get in next 2-3 days as the status has been updated to ready for dispatch. FURther the new BLS company is no more good like VFS. Staff is lazy and not trained properly It took me 3 days to submit the application. Everyday those ladies will give me new form and new dimensions of photo needed. It was horrible. They used to call there other mates to ask every step to be done for PCC certificates. I wonder how they work!!!
We were thinking to apply without PCC but then thought it won't take a long so its better to send PCC along with the original application. Let's see hope we will get our PCC's by next week other application is ready then we will just post it along with PCC.

I sent my PCC through CanadaPost to the Ottawa address.
The status is showing me as went for delivery on 20th March but still not updated.

I called canadapost call center then they said it was delivered to a Mail room and they will update only after they got a acknowledge from the building.

Is it happend to any one?

This is exactly what happened with me when I mailed my PCC to Ottawa. It was delivered to the mail room. I sent 3 emails to Ottawa requesting the confirmation for delivery but never received a reply. SO, I am assuming that everything is fine
