Wow you mean they checked your Linkedlin?How did you know this?That means after the whole check on Linkedln and may be others, before you were sent your medical request?

Don't forget that I said you shouldn't take it to mean anything. Because if you have several contacts in a city or country, someone will know someone you have on your contact and they could view your profile to know more about you.
I also signed up for LinkedIn premium. This enabled me to view all the people that viewed my profile. With basic LinkedIn, you can only see a few people that viewed your profile. When someone view your profile, if they did not hide their information, you can see their names, pictures, where they work and you can go ahead and view their profiles also.

Personally,I don't think you should be bothered about your profile on social network as such.Your applications will be accessed based on the the documents you submitted to CIC and not what you posted outside.A case officer will be doing extra-wickedness of the highest other to have used it to judge any applicant.

I recently changed jobs and don't know what action to take next. Please let me hear your opinions. Thank you.

Nanonye, I think it's best to inform them. Remember there's a part of our PER mail that refers to that:

''Please inform the visa office of any changes in your application (e.g. birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, submission of an Arranged Employment Opinion approved by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc). Please include a letter identifying what the changes are and any relevant supporting documents. If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the originals.
