Work permit processing in Lagos is roughly 3-4 months after submitting via VFS office at Billingsway.
Yes,permit will be issued to you at point of entry.
You can process work permit anywhere provided you are legally residing in such country.
Note:For work permit application,you must get LMIA & Contract from your employer in Canada.

I sent only the church because the date of the church and registry are different and its the church date I wrote as my date of marriage

.......my guess is that AVO wants to know if your union is legally recognized in Nigeria.....my guess is also that the parish in which you were joined does not have a licence to conduct weddings( no cause for alarm) because that s why you did a court wedding also(probably as advised by your pastor,i was advised by my pastor to do a court wedding too.....i usually give the court wedding date n certificate even though its 2 months before the church wedding.

i think you should just give AVO your court wedding certificate and explain to them that you usually quote and use the church stuff because that was the publicly known and celebrated date.....you can also get a court avidavit that your marriage is recognized officially......you might also get a written letter from your church.
