It is quite hard to accept the fact that we will not receive MR until the last quarter of the year, but that seems like the reality on ground now. Come to think of if, the Month of May will be ending in a few days and no update whatsoever.

Was even thinking they would start this month. But taught I read in this thread where someone posted that he/she was sent a mail that they have started reviewing his/her application. Lemme go back and check well

I think that they were only updating the person's file with his/her documents. No visa officer has been assigned to any file for review presently except there is an update from their end from any of us.

Hello everyone,.....just to share some information here. I've had correspondences with Accra VO. I recently changed my marital status and wanted to add my spouse to my application. I informed Accra and I was instructed to send in some documents which I did...after a while, I received another email from Accra, stating that they are processing my application, ....and for them to continue, I need to send another top up money order for 135 Ghana cedis. I was told that they had recently updated their prices. Its no longer 1260 cedis....I'm hoping that they have truly started processing as they said....my application was received by CIO on May 30th 2013.

please may i ask what were the docs you was asked to provide?

Thank you! :)

@Loofy. Where art thou? It's been a long while. Pls come out from hiding. You are one of the earliest applicants to AVO apart from Floxzy on this forum. Any news from your end? Have u had correspondence with AVO, CSE replies or info on GCMS if any? Pls share with us.

Cheers

The month of may is almost ending. This means that the PCC submitted by May applicants would be expiring. CIC expects pcc to be valid for a year - despite the fact that PCC issued at alagbon close is valid for 3 months.

May be seniors should be preparing for a new PCC when MR finally comes.

I stand to be corrected.

Dis is realy annoying, why is it dat some pple from india are tryin to spoil dis forum by postin junks and spams thereby pushing reasonable and important posts to d back page.May be they want all of us awaiting MR to transfer d annoyance of too much waiting time on dem. I thank God for giving us d strenght of withstanding this waiting time cos honestly its not easy especialy those that submitted their applications since May. Our waiting shall not be in vain. Hibbernation mode activated agian.

Hi everyone,

First lets remember that there is a great reward attached to patience, so when we remember the unresponsive attitude of our Oga at the top, remember it will come good some day!

By the way i just got married and i am looking forward to add my madam to my application, please what are the necessary docs to be in place while letting AVO know about my change in family structure? Does she need to write the English test?

Thank you.

One of the best ways to get the best from this forum is to read past posts. For example the quote below addresses your concerns

@ Hopefulval, first go thru the checklist and then note what you would have sent if you were married while applying in the first place.

Also you need to update all the forms where necessary.

1, update POF
2, proof of marriage (marriage certs)
3, check all the forms and fill where applicable for your spouse
4, pay application fee for spouse
5, level of education for spouse (certs)

but let the checklist be your guide

Cheers

Congrats o. Your frontier is no longer tinny, since you are now married.... :D I believe your question as been answered
