They will not respond to mails because you do not know your file numbers yet or do you have it? Call their number and press english to speak with them.I did that several times when i was still in quebec's train.

I called them... they said have sent it though post mail, and I should wait for it.

Guys this appeared funny to me but thats what i found on the "Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here" on Nairaland. See link: http://www.nairaland.com/1279130/canadian-federal-skilled-worker-program-timelines/62

I have been a silent observer of this trend since it was created, with two or three posts. But I have gain so much from this forum. With heart full of praise to God, and with all humility, I got my federal skilled worker visa yesterday together with my Confirmation of Permanent residence.
I think it is a high time to give back to the forum. Please ask questions, and I will try and answer from my little knowledge of the process.

Note: I am a 2013 FSW applicant.

Solomonwise, and other gurus in the house, thanks so much."

The guy went further to give his timeline after someone asked a few questions.

Are you serious about the bolded? all the same congratulations to you.I thought Accra visa office has not started processing FSWP2013.Or was the visa issued by another visa office?Pls what is the date of you application? When did you recieve PER and MR?

The visa was issued through another visa office, and not Accra. (Though I am a Nigerian).

Below is my timeline:
Application sent to cic: oct 28,2013
Application received in cic:oct 30,2013
PER date: Jan 26, 2014
VO officer requests for more document: Feb 6,2014
Medical request:Febuary 16,2014
Medical done; march 5,2014
Visa issued: April 11,2014

I think as per the minister instructions, all 2013 federal skilled application should be finalised latest by one year.

Shalom"

Now i said this sounds funny because myself, a November 18th applicant, got my PER on January 20 so i find it strange that an October 30th applicant is getting PER on January 26.

Secondly, when did the guy's application arrive Accra from CIC for them to issue a request for additional information in less than 2 weeks?

In my opinion, this is false.

@ nanonye

Read the whole thread on the Nairaland site from the poster and the subsequent replies.

The poster's visa office is CPP-O (right under the minister's nose), if they can't deliver on the promise of faster processing, which VO can?

If you also look at the main FSW 2013 thread started by Islandbabe, it covers most poster's in NDVO (New Delhi), they have also managed to issue visa to some 2013 applicants

Warsaw and LVO are sluggishly getting on the train, hopefully the slow coach (AVO) will eventually start churning out the MRs etc

@ petereshiett?
The av. time in recieving PER this days is 15-18 days. I think you need to email CIC immediately to ascertain what it is with your application, you might still be able to send another before April 30th if something went wrong.

Just as I told you.The letter they have sent is an acknowledgement of receipt and they will equally tell you that your money has been charged. If there is any action that they want you to take,it will be contained in the letter but I must advise you that you must get your french language level up to B2 to get Quebec certificate of selection.

My instinct tells me we'll start hearing from Accra VO in May. God help us

@nanonye, he stated that his visa office was NOT accra
