My paper file number is already edited. No worries! Below is a summary of what was said about yours truly:

1. My file was reviewed under SW-1 and I fall under the eligible MI-8 NOC
2. My duties performed correspond to main duties of my NOC
3. I have a minimum of one year's experience in the last 10 years according to the MI and which I stated was my primary occupation
4. MI8 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA MET
5. I appear to have met or exceeded the threshold for language and educational requirements.
6. I submitted a current ECA report.
7. My docs on file were reviewed.
8. My letter of reference related to work experience on file was not verified
9. Language test results verified; Educational credentials/transcripts reviewed and ECA report verified.
10. File sent to visa office for further assessment/decision. Letter emailed to address on file.


That's pretty much all! Item number 8 means that Accra VO may still need to verify my letter of reference from my employer (#additionaldelayz).

Thanks for your response. Do you know I didn't even notice you have edited your file number. Anyways, your GCMS note is pretty much the same as mine ( No 8- letter of reference relating to work experience not verified ) which I obtained in January 2014. The only difference however is that my paper file has been assigned to a visa officer for assessment and has got a due date of 30/12/2013 which has elapsed. I don't know what the selection decision is now but i am still waiting to hear from them.

One of these visa offices has a much smaller backlog for FSW applications than the others. Yet one of these visa offices is yet to start processing applications. Can you tell me which one? Send your answers in to qualify to win a trip for two to Niagara Falls, CA... ;D ;D ;D

You are a funny guy ooooo.The answer is obvious.Accra has 87 final decision;is it from the selection decision number?They have the least.Probably,they are short staffed.I do not have another reason to explain this statistics.

My GCMS notes arrived in the mail yesterday. Nothing much has changed.

However, the report was generated on 17 January 2014. So the waiting continues.

I am not surprised at all. Do you guys know that Ottawa was the first visa office to start issuing medical since October last year? They are done with all may-December applicants and now process applications from January as they land on their table.

God i know has not forsaken us.There is time and reason for everything.

If the minister says that FSW 2013 processing will take just a year, then you would not expect CPP-O (that is in his own backyard) to embarrass him by delaying case reviews.

I think they do update GCMS regularly, because I submitted a document to them in December 2013 and I saw it updated. As a matter of fact, all documents and communication with them were documented in GCMS, even when I made inquiries for status updates.

Its true. I noticed the same thing in my GCMS note. All inquiries made are documented.

Please I noticed there is error in the spelling of my surename. Letter 'e' was replaced with the letter 'a'. Because of this I am not able to log on to ECAS with the correct spelling. Checking through the duplicate copies of the forms and documents I submitted shows the error is not from me. I have emailed accra sometime ago with no response. I this something I should worry about or it doesnt matter? Anyone that has seen such scenerio?

So, what you are actually saying is that your name is 'Gandelf' and not really 'Gandalf'? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Don't mind me.! You may also contact them via https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx which is the general link for case specific inquiries. By the way, when did you submit and receive your PER? A list of PER recipients is being generated.
