Hello Everyone,

I have been going through the NDVO and LVO threads, and I noticed that a few weeks ago, NDVO members sent emails to Minister Alexander, and they started receiving MR's not long after. I don't know if these events are in anyway connected, but LVO members are now suggesting that LVO applicants should do the same. I don't know if this would do the magic, but I feel that there is no harm in trying. I have just sent an email to Minister Alexander, and I suggest that you do the same. Here are the email addresses I got from the LVO thread.

chris.alexander @ parl.gc.ca
minister @ cic.gc.ca

Hope it works out. Fingers crossed while we keep waiting and praying.

I don't think by putting pressure on them, they will start doing something they have not being doing. in my opinion we are still within the time frame. Waiting for another 3months wont be a bad idea. Remember pressure has its bad also.

Putting pressure on them? I didn't suggest we storm Accra VO with AK47's. I just said we could do what other VO's were doing. They were simply sending enquiries to the Minister to find out if their applications would be processed as quickly as was promised when FSW 2013 opened. I also don't see how it would have any negative effect. NDVO was not closed down when more than 20 people sent emails to the minister, instead they started receiving MR's (don't get me wrong, I am not saying the MR's came because of the emails).

Really its a thing of choice, you either choose to send the email or not. But I don't see anything wrong with it. If he did not want to be reached by the public, believe you me, we wouldn't have access to his email address.

Can see you are a Newbie with 8posts to your credit. I can understand. One thing you must show to yourself throughout this process is exercising patience. It didn't start with our set. People have waited 3years before completing FSW process. Ours doesn't look like it's going to be so frm the look of things and also since there wasn't for 2012. Let me ask CPP-O that sent out MR first was it also because they sent emails? Or the CHongkong VO. You can send as many emails but I can tell you these people work according to their schedules that's why processing times for different VOs are posted on their website..

Please is there anyone that applied for NOC 3211 and how far with your application? The number keeps going up and am kind of bothered.I sent my application in Oct and no info so far.

Acesbaby, this is very thoughtful of you. The events may be connected or they maybe not. New Delhi's backlog of applications far outweighs that of Accra, so it's a great wonder why NDVO FSW applicants have started receiving MRs. There are only two outcomes here ... 1. The minister ignores your mail and the life of waiting goes on or 2. the Minister reads your mail and gets to work on it and we subsequently start receiving our MRs. Either way, you have nothing to lose. Keep it up!

Being the oldest forum member does not make you know it all. You can't know if she is a newbie because of her 8posts and it has got nothing to do with the issue, this is a public forum and we should mind how we respond to other people.
