I have wonderful news....I got MR, RPRF and Proof of funds request this afternoon.

The exact document requested are below and I have 30 days to submit them

- Medical examination for the entire family.

- Updated police clearance certificates for you and your spouse.

- Right of Permanent Residence Fee for you and your spouse.

- Updated IMM 5406- Additional Family Information for you and your spouse.

- Updated IMM 5669- Schedule A for you and your spouse listing all personal and address history from the age of 18.

- Updated proof of funds.


AVO is on fire... all the best to all waiting for the wonderful news.

I need an urgent support on my Proof of funds I have to build an account from the scratch because there are no funds in the account I submitted earlier what do you suggest I do to avoid questions from the Visa Officer....Seniors please support urgently.

I beg to differ with you 'cos I've been an active member......Just waiting for my MR....will update the forum when it happens....but right now, my name is "patience"......I think mine was pushed back due to the fact that I added my spouse to my application....and also had to update my payment before they could continue processing my application.....mine should be ready on Tuesday @ 2:43 pm Ghanian Time....

Yes o...@kollins...the wait is not easy o....and you know one cannot even ask them any question now and expect a response as they have said if your application is still within the processing time frame they wont respond....so na to keep waiting....

My understanding of the request of thebaft received from Accra was that he contacted with reference to the new baby addition to his profile.Seems to me the request sent to him was meant for him to update add the new baby.My conclusion and deduction (I stand to be corrected) is that thebaft is yet to receive MR.
What I will do is to make a note/comment on his profile information for the requested details but I'm not sure he receive MR yet.
Please confirm again and let me know your findings.

Already contacted AVO and I have been given 60 days to submit the following documentation...

Dear Sir/Madam,
For the new addition to your family, kindly provide the following:
* An Application for Permanent Residence in Canada [IMM 0008] for you.
* Updated the Schedule A: Background/Declaration [IMM 0008 SCHEDULE A] for you and your spouse respectively
* Updated Additional Family Information form [IMM 5406] for you and your spouse respectively.
* Payment of the Application for Permanent Residence Fee for your new dependent if he is accompanying.
* Copy of State issued birth certificate for your new dependant. Please note that hospital birth certificates will not be accepted
* 4 passport-sized photos for your new dependant, as per the photo specifications found in Appendix C of the visa office specific instructions.
* Copy of the biographical page from valid passport for your new dependant.
Please be advised to send the above documents within 60 days of the receipt of this e-mail.

Has anyone used a fixed deposit statement before? Because I just requested for a statement from my bank and what they gave me is a 1page document that shows : Frm February - August 2014 and The closing balance... There is no step by step information on the account like we generally do have on our savings or current account.

Please let me know if this is how a fixed deposit statement usually looks like.

Thats correct. A FD statement will only show how much u have fixed, the interest rate and duration the fund has been fixed. It won't show transaction details like a bank statement.
