Hello everyone, pls I want a clarification over POF. Can one use a spouse bank statement as POF . The spouse is included in the application & will be accompanying the principal applicant at the conclusion of the process.

Yes you can as long as there is proof he/she is your spouse, you are good to go

As a principal applicant you shd be the one showing you have enough fund and not your spouse, except you both operate a joint account. CIC does not want you to borrow.

@B.A it doesn't really matter whose account the money is ,what really counts is that there is money for both the principal applicant and family to settle in Canada...or would a spouse withhold money that will help the family settle? I don't think so....that's how CIC sees it and has not bother any one that I know who used their spouse's account with theirs.

Hello house, seems NDVO has a higher rate of conducting interviews and employment verification than any of the other VOs.
What's the position like with AVO? Do they also conduct work premises visitations and request for interviews frequently from applicants?
