Hello house,
Any one with ICAN, WES does not recognise ICAN to be eqivalent to any canadian qualification.

@rossai, Ican is not recognized in Canada. Best to use your degree or masters.

Congrats Selinah. Just follow the instructions on your ppr. Don't forget personal history is from age 18. That part is usually highlighted in red. Stick to thd photo specification and please after you send your pps and docs to avo, if ur account says that additional documents are required from you, upload the documents.

@ Akubilly, xls's right. Your pof should be easily accessible. Pension funds may not work. You can include it but ensure u also have proof of other forms of easily accessible funds.

All the best everyone

Hi Casperenoch, please check your inbox. Also, I just need to one more time confirm that this PCC is valid for only three months, especially for people who are not in the country. The reason I ask is because usually it is valid for a shorter period of time for people who are currently residing in the country when they request for it.

Please confirm the length of validity for those who requested from out Nigeria. Thanks

Thanks Nas man. But how do I know those that are legit? I heard that there are some scammers. And aside from that, there's no one to actually inspect the house for me. But I'd definitely check the link. Thanks.

Hi everyone, please I need some help with questions I have as per Proof of funds. We intend to enter EE pool next week.

1. What is the exchange rate one can safely use for CAD$ with this naira forex wahala? We are require to show $18617 for family of three.
2. We plan to use a combination of current account, stocks, landed property and pension fund for POF. Bank statement will account for like one-third of the required POF. Do you think we are good to go?

Thanks for your help.

There have been many debates and opinions about POF and there are several threads too. You should try to read them.

Regarding your questions;

1. Exchange rate that would used is the official government rate which is around 198-199 if am not mistaken.

2. POFs is defined as money you can easily access so i don't think pension count for such, in my own opinion your account either savings or current showed be submitted showing the required funds and if possible more. In addition to that you can now add Valued-Landed property by recognised agents to support if you like. But again this is my personal opinion.

Best is to have the cash in your account.

Wish you the very best and welcome in advance to the pool.

Thanks for your reply. I guess the whole uncertainty about the exchange rate was getting me a bit concerned. When I did a google search on some sites, 1 Canadian dollar was exchanging for N245 but I don't even know if those are reliable.

One more question, for bank account, do you simply print out details from your account online or one has to request a letter from bank?

Canadian Dollar is currently at N245. So those sites are not wrong.
You need to go to your bank and print out a letter and get a reference letter too.
