Hello guys,

does anybody have an idea why the "eligibility tool for express entry" says I'm not eligible (tried several time in the last 2 hours) despite having;

1. at least 12 months continuous full-time job (45 hours/week)

2. IELTS *S-7.5, W-7, L-8, R-7

3. NOC A- Bsc equivalent (WES)

4. age-28

5. single applicant

6. fund option between $11200-14000

7. self EE calculation- 407, FSW- 69/100

8. currrently a masters student in canada

In addition, in the past, it says I was eligible (come to canada tool) but EE profile is always INELIGIBLE (5 times). I'm frustrated already.

Thanks guys. looking forward to some shrewd insights. Help a brother in need!

this happened to me twice.
i changed a couple of things im not sure which one worked.
i changed my work hours from 50 which was the correct thing to 30....(someone says thats not what did the trick)
i also added my secondary school education( initially it was only my medical education i put there)
then i put 19000 for my family of 3 when less than that was required but i am aware of fluctuations.....so try these??
good luck.

I agree. I had to change things. ensure you put all your education. For me i had to increase my funds by extra $5,000 for family of 3 before it was eligible. Just tweak things. but do not put less funds or change things you cannot prove or might contradict. This phase of ineligibility is system-induced. the main one will be done by a case officer and any irregularities might lead to your PR denial.

I would say reason being that the funds requirement has increased, look up the funds and make sure u have put enough.

Thank you. I have increased the fund to more than $14k. still saying " do not appear to be eligible based on your answer". please, does the pool not accept CRS that's less than 410 or are there other criteria that I need to fulfil?

Check your application properly especially your education. Make sure you selected the correct option for "Education standing".........!!! this happened to to me, and I felt so stupid when I noticed my error. I kept selecting "In good standing, no degree awarded".

Thank you. I just went through everything and I couldn't pinpoint a mistake. my concern is even the fact that "EE eligibility tool" says " I do not appear to be eligible". what then is the probability of successfully creating a profile in the pool?
