Accra Visa Office seems to have shut down. My file was transferred there from Nova Scotia and arrived Accra since 8th August 2016 but nothing has been done to my file since then.
I requested to know the status of my application from CIC and a 44 pages document was sent to me, containing all the steps the application had gone through and the steps to go before visa issuance. Background check on me and my spouse has not even commenced.
Please anyone with update on happenings there.

Summary is that CIC confirmed me eligible and transferred my file to Accra and got there on the 8th August 2016. Accra has not done anything to it since then. Background check is the next step and this has not commenced yet
