Your profile shows ur visa office as AVO, but in ur timeline it shows u got AOR in March 2017. From the latest trend, its very likely your application is in the London Visa Office and thats why your background check is already in progress

No. You have to call them or send a CSE. To me, calling is faster because it takes about 30 days to get a response to any CSE you raise.

It's the same place that you checked but if nothing is happening to your application, you will likely not get any message. The messages come and change once there is an activity going on with your application. It updates you

I saw from your profile that u received AOR on 6th January, 2017. When did u link ur Acct online, was it before AOR or after? Is your background check in progress?
I am asking cos I received AOR on 9th January, 2017 and my background check has been in progress ever since.

I linked my account on the 24th of Dec 2016. Thats before AOR.

How are you sure your background check is in progress? It should be: We are processing your background check.
