Hello seniors,
I have a question that has been on my mind for a while. We initially applied for QSW program, got our file number, made payments and was waiting for medical request. We even got a mail from Accra asking if we were still interested in the program which we signified our interest. A year later, we got a mail that my hubby Noc code was filled up thereby they have to refund our money. My question is, at the cic stage, will the same reference number still be used or would we be given another file number? If the old file number is used, will it in anyway fast track the process at cic stage given that we had gone far in our first application?

Please note that all this information was included in our mpnp form and at the time we filed for the QSW program our sponsor was still in Nigeria.

Anyone in the house with a similar case?
Thanks

Good day my people, its been a while hope everyone is doing fine? I'm happy that more people are joining us here, I pray that our expectations will not be cut short by God's grace.

Amen in Jesus name.

@ Yommyatos & Teju

Amen and Amen by God's special grace.

@ Beeceeayo,

I am not the CIC my sister, but i will say it seems only logical that they will give you a new reference number as this is a new application based on nomination from the MPNP. it may be that PNP applicants get a reference number that helps the CIC immediately recognize the sort of application it is. so it is more understandable to expect a new reference number...this is just how i see it. Don't worry because this time the lines will fall in great places for you IJN.

@ all my forum family here,

I am talking about something serious and all of you keep quiet... :P ;D, let us be very prayerful for all our MPNP applications from Nigeria so that we don't get any delays because of this yeye Ebola palaver. We will all rejoice soon enough by the special grace of Jesus. ;)

Amen o. It shall be well.

Hello Ofis,

I submitted a hard copy application in Manitoba in Feb 2013.
Still no response...
Do you have any clue as to what must have happened?

Hi OGucci,

Historically, paper applications take longer to process than online applications. I guess a lot of manhours and resources are required for encoding paper applications, hence the delay. The good news (or is it bad news now for my brodas and sisters anticipating to submit their applications) I think is the fact that MPNP has stopped receiving new applications since late July this year which could imply that they want to clear the backlog.

Hang in there with some more faith and patience.

Cheers,

Ofis

Please what are the fees one is expected to pay all through the MPNP program? I am aware of processing fees of $550 for applicant and $550 for spouse and $150 for each accompanying children. Please someone let me know what other fees is one expected to pay. Thanks

To be on the safe side also pay your ROPRF i.e right of permanent residence fee. This will ensure u don't go thru the process of sending a bank draft during or before u are asked to go for medicals. I wished I paid mine then I wouldn't have gone thru the hassles of sending a bank draft to accra visa office.

Please how much is the ROPRF fees and do I need to pay that for my self and all accompanying depend ants? Thanks for all your helpful information.

$490 for just u and ur spouse each which sums up to $980 plus whatever ur paying for ur application spouse and dependants. Dependent children under the age of 19yrs are not meant to pay this ROPRF.
