That was when accra visa office acknowledged the receiving my application from cic nova scotia. It took 6months for me to get nominated that's after my sponsor was interviewed. And 2months after I submitted a fresh application to cic for accra to acknowledge my receipt. After my medicals I have been waiting for 5months now to get my permanent residence visa, Don't be in haste my friend this is a game of patience.

Illbro, I would like to know if the documents sent to Manitoba with your application were the exact ones you sent with your forms to Nova Scotia? And at what point did you include police report?

Please can I change my mailing address. I intend to use my sponsor's address in Manitoba as my mailing address. Is this ok. I intend to do this because if successful, my nomination certificate would be sent through post office mail and for safety and timely delivery, I would want to use my sister's address in Manitoba so that when she receives it, she would courier to me.

Login to Manitoba site and change your mailing address. its is safer that way considering our snail mail in Naija

yes same exact documents but recent (up to date reference letters from employers, bank statements e.t.c) when sending to cic nova scotia cos these would be forwarded to accra visa office, also Original copies of police report certificate and ielts results are sent to cic nova scotia.

TeeOMISORE thanks i appreciate, and yes it has been a while. i hope very soon i will receive progress by the special grace of God its been 5 months now after medicals and i am waiting patiently for my PPR, e nor easy, i have sent them a gentle reminder and they responded saying my application is on queue. what else can i do but wait? anything that starts from the beginning one day must surely come to a good end one day. stay blessed and i wish u same too.
