Wow! I hope Telzmisees this and can also draw out some conclusion too. The manual application before may 2013 is really slow. Our prayers now is for God to touch them so that they can hadle the back logs real quick.

Hi Guys,

Sorry for the late response Jare:

Paper application submitted in Manitoba: March 2013
Acceptance letter received with File number: october 2013 (but dated July 2013)
Status: I sent an email and was told that it has been queued for assessment

This is actually my second application. The first one (submitted in 2012) was returned because i did not include my test of english results.

@ Gucci ur sons application will be treated as an adult just like ur spouse since he is above 16yrs of age. Since you r the principal applicant there is no cause for alarm if u stated in ur application that they will also be moving with you. On the hand when applying for a temporary residence visa for him to study it is advisable for u not to state his intentions about MPNP. When he gets his visa for study he can easily change from whatever course of study ( preferably biosciences e.g microbiology or biochemistry) to medicine, I.e when u and ur family has attained status of permanent residency.

Guys i need your help...

I am at cross roads right now.

I have a 17 year old son who is presently writing his A-Levels examinations. He did his A-Levels here in Naija chiefly because of this application. His brother is done with his SSCE too and should be entering college for A levels this september.

Now my question is, how does sending my teenage children away from home affect the application?
Do i need to update a change of address for them, and if i do, will it be interpreted as them being "independent of me", making it difficult for them to get a PR through my application.

Also, my 17 year old wants to study medicine but the university of manitoba does not allow non citizens/non PR holders to study medicine. So i was thinking, if i send him to do a related course, will he be allowed to switch to medicine when we get our PR?

How will sending him to University of Manitoba affect my application...

SEE JAMB QUESTIONS!!!! :D

@Gucci and Yes u will need to update their current address once they get their study visas to manitoba, the reason because towards the end of ur mpnp application u and all ur families intending to move with u will be required to submit a medical examinarion test e.t.c

Hello Seniors,

I just discovered that document checklist IMM 5690 (03-2014) E for PNP has been revised by CIC. In the new checklist, employment and educational history and proof has been yanked out.

Has anyone noticed this and does that mean we can go ahead and submit without these info to CIC? Please help

It appears u r applying for pnp qubec, correct me if I am wrong. Cos the document checklist for cic last year was IMM5610 (10-2013)E. From what I see if this is a general checklist for 2014 then it is advisable u follow it. Who knows maybe ur province forwarded ur documents highlighted in the checklist to cic and if the need for cic to verify their claims in the future they will request for it just arm urself but do as the checklist says

IMM 5690 (03-2014)E PERMANENT RESIDENCE - PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM AND QUEBEC SKILLED WORKERS

IMM 5610 (03-2014)E PERMANENT RESIDENCE - CANADIAN EXPERIENCE CLASS

I applied for Nova Scotia PNP and what was advised is that applicant should read IMM 5690 carefully before submitting forms to CIC. The checklist you referred to (IMM 5610) is for CEC and not PNP. MY question focuses on PNP.

Well things must have really changed over a yr. Dats the checklist I used when applying to CIC after bin nominated by the province of manitoba. My candid advice for u is to follow strictly what is laid down on blqck n white. Its also the first time I m hearing of CEC no offence.

:)
