Nigerian Applicants for MPNP 2014 timelines....abeg!

Hi Guys, i am new to this forum. I intend to apply for Manitoba online immigration application with my wife. I am the principal applicant. During the application. i was asked to upload my supporters docs eg Proof of residency, Manitoba health card, or birth certificate etc, but when i contacted my supporter he said i should'nt worry about it, that i should apply without those docs that he will send it from his own side when they contact him. i hope not providing this docs during my application will not stall the application. i am applying under family stream. thanks

If you are filling the online form all the documents you listed above are not requested for as they are things that has to do with you and your family, your education, work experiences, networth, adaptability (this is where you fill your sponsor's name and addy) and the SP1 which will be filled by you and probably reviewed by your sponsor. I understand the reason why your sponsor said he will send it from his own end because all those doc fall under the documents to be uploaded by your sponsor for the SP 2. Hope this helps.

Some questions though:

1. Did you guys upload your FSLC (first school leaving cert) and SSCE or just SSCE?
2. Hope not having SSCE transcript will not be a problem ( i wonder how many govt secondary schools issue transcript)
3. I uploaded 3 months Statement with the required funds hope no wahala with this one (some forumites says its 6 months, but from the MPNP site they require 3 Months)
4. i Made a mistake in my first employment date i wrote Dec 2011 - Mar 2012 instead of Dec 2011 - Mar 2013, although in my adaptability form i wrote that i have 3 years experience and my letter of employment and reference letter attests to that fact. do i need to send them a mail to correct the mistake?

You don't need to upload your FSLC you start uploading from Secondary School till date. We don't get secondary school transcripts in Nigeria but we are normally given testimonial (that was what I uploaded as my certificate and WAEC Cert as my transcript since it showed the grades). I cant really say if submitting a 3months statement will be a problem but I'm sure the MPNP Office will contact if need be.

Just a little advise, you can also post your update (i.e. Date of submission, AOR etc) to MPNP Application Batch 2013 indicating that Clarence should add you to the spread sheet.

If you are yet to submit your application kindly hurry up as MPNP will not receive applications effective from August 1,2014.

And for those of us that have submitted,congrats and goodlck to us all.

They inform you only by mail and not email.its preferable to use your supporters mailing address in manitoba.its wayyyy faster as we no get better mailing system fir nija

MPNP is trying to guard against having too much backlog. Its a good idea anyway our applications will be treated much faster.

I just submitted my MPNP application under Family Stream. my sponsor is a close relative (My Brother -inlaw). i just learnt that his wife is supporting another family (A friend) and we submitted our application almost the same time. I hope this will not affect my application negatively

1. I don't have a sponsor or friend there. Can anyone help?

2. I discovered similar programs for other districts have closed for the year, I would like to know if that for Manitoba is still open so I can apply.

Your brother in law can't be your sponsor, except your spouse who is directly related, or else it would be declared ineligible
