Naija Pikin,

Congrats for the progress and goodluck with the document(s) submission but ensure say you dot their I's and cross the T's as desired/instructed by Accra.

On a side note, I actually prefer FedEx service for courier purposes, but whichever one you decide to use the real prayer is for God's favour on the additional submissions IJN.

Cheers.

Yes, I am post June 26th. Yes the payslips are readily available, and would be sent sharp, sharp. But my concern now is, sending original copies of employment letter, promotion letter, and other relevant docs?, wouldn't that be at the risk of losing such vital docs?.

Congrats Naijapikin,

We also just received a similar email but in my own case, they request POF and Police certificates within 60 days. Meanwhile, I do not think it's necessary to send your original promotion and employment letters; as long as you notarize them, that should be fine. Afterall, we sent notarize copies of those same documents along with our application and there were no questions asked. You can send original payslips and statements of accounts though, since you can always generate those ones. That's my opinion.

I agree with you my brother. Honestly, one of the main reasons for wanting to live in Canada is to excape the rats that invades one's house especially those small ones. It's a menace and they defile all kinds of fumigation. I tire for rats, I beg.
Just want to let you know that, there are rats in Canada too o.After 6 months of landing we all will come to terms with what we really wanted.

Hi EMO, e get difference between rats wey dey for Canada and d ones wey dey for Naija. D ones wey dey for Naija no get respect at all LOL

Naija Pikin, like i said earlier, the tone of the VO handling ur case na waha ooo :o(s/he did not even define which docs should be original), We'll pray along with you and Trust that God will speak for you.

For me they requested for additional documents on Nov 5, 2010( which i sent within 10days). See part of the request(note the tone of the letter) below, so you will understand my concern about your VO:

"* If your family configuration has changed since your initial application, please include changes on the application form and provide supporting documentation (e.g. birth certificates, marriage certificates, police certificates) and applicable processing fees. Please refer to www.international.gc.ca/accra/immig-fees-en.asp for our current fee schedule. (No changes for me)
* Original proof of your employment as .....(edited). Please submit a letter(s) that indicates your job title, specific duties, responsibilities and length of employment as .....(edited) The signatory’s name, position and contact information should be indicated on the letters.(sent an Original letter)[/i]
* Additional proof of employment (e.g. pay slips, letters of promotions, etc.). (Sent 12months payslips(ours are online) signed n stamped by boss; Pension Cert (Notorised); Cert of training attended(Notorised))[/font]
* Proof of unencumbered and readily transferable funds in a convertible currency available for settlement in Canada (for you and your family members). Please provide bank statements from the past 12 months. These funds must be available for you and your dependents, whether they are accompanying or not. For more information, see http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp. (Sent original 12months Salary and personal bank statements(Self, Wify n Baby)).If we have not received a response from you WITHIN 60 DAYS of the date of this letter, your application will be assessed based on the information available on file, which may result in a refusal of your application. If your application is refused, you will be able to reapply, but you will be required to submit a new application and pay a new processing fee. Any new application will be assessed according to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulations in force at the time that the new application is submitted.

Immigration Section

DyDx, you are obviously pre June 26th. There is a difference here, the letters sent out so far to post June 26th , follow the same format( same exact words) as my own, ie Ralfee, drmoney, etc, and all are been processed at the Accra office. I have also seen some letters from other VOs and they all follow the same format, so it is has nothing to do with the VO handling my case.

I have available, payslips from 2008 - 2011, however, Nov 2010, and Jan 2011 slips are missing, I guess I would just do them a letter explaining that. I intend submitting original payslips for the past one year, and the salary account statement for one year also.
I have other original documents which are additional proof of employment, but my fear is losing them, these are documents that are not issued twice.
Btw, did you send all your documents by courier?. I have asked DHL & UPS about the prepaid return service, they both said they only render that service for packages within Nigeria.

Thanks for your prayers Bro, and all the best as you wait for your MR.
