Group please i need your opinion!!!!!!!!!!. I received my MR a week ago, but my spouse lives in the UK while i am primarily resident in Nigeria. The question is can she have her medicals done in the UK, instead of flying over? I thot initially she could have her medicals done in the UK, since they do this emedical thing and we all have unique UCI numbers, but a senior who has landed has a very different opinion, which i need clarification from other experience applicants.
Your spouse can do his/her medical in UK while you do yours here.forward the medical form to him/her.
Two of my kids are in school outside Nigeria, they did their medicals over there while we did ours here even on different days.our ecas has since been updated as medicals received.
All the best

Kudos to the seniors and other contributors to this thread. Just stumbled on this forum and it's been mightily informative. I'm also a member of the class of May 2013 and I've got my passport request on October 2. submitted the very next day.

Hi, just a little chip in. Having an X-ray during pregnancy is generally considered safe. It's highly unlikely that a diagnostic X-ray during pregnancy will harm a developing baby.

Most X-ray exams — including those of the arms, legs, head, teeth or chest — won't expose your reproductive organs to radiation, and a leaded apron and collar can be worn to block any scattered radiation. The exception is abdominal X-rays, which expose your abdomen — and your baby — to radiation. High doses of radiation can cause changes in a baby's rapidly growing cells. In turn, it's possible that these changes could slightly increase a baby's risk of birth defects or certain cancers, such as leukemia, later in life. Remember, however, that the typical dose of radiation associated with a diagnostic X-ray — even one of the abdomen or pelvis — doesn't pose this risk.

Before having an X-ray, tell the health care provider if you are or might be pregnant. Depending on the circumstances, it might be possible to do an imaging study that doesn't involve radiation — such as ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging. Courtesy, Mayo Clinic, US. Many Thanks Pipis Husband
Very helpful

Nice one!

Congrats Daramz and Kit01 on your MR

My good people, has anyone done medicals or knows about ABUJA clinic? I called to book last weekend and was giving a date only for me to call today for reminder and I was told to re schedule for another date. (so annoying) again that their result take like 5days to be ready. Is it so for all other hospitals?

how long did it take for WES to do the verification. i need this information to help a family member planning to apply

It depends on the school/university. The verification would be done by them. In other to hasten this process, once the person receives the verification notification in his/her WES profile, should contact the school ASAP.

WES evaluation itself doesnt take time, its the verification that does.
