I received my visa pickup email today from AVO after over 3 weeks of waiting (AVO received passports sept 05). I am sure more good news will come in for others waiting this week.

please house i jave a doctor friend trying to process his application. is he going to use WES for credential assessment of medical council of Canada. i need urgent reply pls. thanks

WES doesn't do credential assessment for doctors. It is been done my Medical council of Canada(MCC). It's a pretty long process.

As long as u r in good terms with the company u worked with go there and ask them for a reference letter stating ur job description from the periods u worked with them it could be in for of a testimonial certificate include photocopies of ur i.d card if the could give to u or u still have it then also add ur pay slips u should be fine. Doesn't necessarily mean u must be working presently, but show that u have had relevant working experience indicated in ur NOC.

Thanks lilbro. Had medicals March 05 2014. Got a response from AVO on July 21 that decision is about to be made but that my RPRF draft went stale. Had to raise another draft and submitted days after. Got PPR eventually Aug 28 and PPV sep 30.

Please can anyone tell me where I can raise this RPRF canadian/USD bank draft in Port Harcourt?
Secondly, how do I submit the requested documents including the draft? Courier or email or on their website? If courier, which address do I send to and which carrier is best? Fedex, UPS, DHL?

@ lilbro, I am on FSW. I did my medicals in Naija, Lagos. Yes, I raised my draft in naija, GTB to be precise. If yours is PNP, it may be a factor. I hope you hear from them soon.

Have you worked previously?
If yes,check the profession that matches your previous work experience.
The rule is that at least one year experience in the last 10 years in order
to be eligible to apply.
If that is the case,you can get the reference letter from your previous
employer.

just speak to someone, the MD in a private hospital to help you with a reference letter using their letterhead paper. but let the person be aware they may call to verify so he must be ready to give them a positive response. its better to even say you are still presently working there and that you have been there for some years. hope this helps

Gtbank can help yo raise the draft. they have a facility online for it. just fund your dollar account with 1000USD and go online to complete the transaction. you can then ask them to send it to a brach near you, but better still visit a gtbank close to you for explanations. please use DHL abeg. i sent my initial draft when they requested MR, the draft got missing in transit when i used FedEx. they asked me to send another draft when they sent ppr saying they did not receive the initial draft and thats what delayed my application. all the best bro
