How long does it take in total from applying and receiving It's getting longer now due to the number of immigrants landing these days. Mine took a little over six weeks. I think that could be because of the wrong address that the IO used. However I do know that some other people have obtained theirs sooner.

Application was received in NS June 14 2008
Approved Jan 12 2009 with 120 days to submit document to Ghana
Email to do Medical Nov 17 2009
Medical was done March 18 2010 (delay was due to letter not received)
Passport request: ??????
