Depending on your destination in canada, school children get picked up by school buses at designated points, and they get dropped off at same point after school. There might be few instances where one wud have to ferry the kids to/fro school. At age 14, the teen will be going into Grade 8(final grade of elementary), and your lil one(s) will be going in to anywhere from Jnr kindergarten to grade 1 ..... maybe 3 or 4(depending on age). They'll probably only be in the same school for like a year at the most, as the teen will be progressing into High school at age 15, and if you want your kids going into a catholic school then you can be sure they won't get to see much of each other at school even during the one year.
Its a great idea to do the adoption thing, CiC would mostly be interested in the motive behind the adoption and would want to know if it is in the best interest of the child. Try to show that you've been actively involved in the child/teens upbringing for a considerable length of time to the extent that the teen will suffer if you suddenly leave her behind in Nigeria, and the birth parents have forgone their parental rights. The teen has been living with you some time, so it would be disruptive to just relocate without her.
