You cannot choose center by yourself.Go to British Council in Ikoyi.I think the address is 20,Thompson avenue,Ikoyi. They will further direct you.Better still visit their website and register then visit your bank to pay the 35k and visit them to get other things settled.

Congrats to everyone with one update or the other. To the newly landed....congratulations as well. The land of Canada shall favour you and yours.

For those of us still waiting....we shall smile soon IJN!

Thank you Mikeyflexy, Tem, Kanulia27, Babakura (My main Man), NwaMarie, Tangowisky, Kolemm, and my John the Baptist (Opk2Much).

I will also like to advise those landing newly and without job not to bother to spend money on buying furniture and bedding. I got very nice free furniture and computer table on Kijiji 'free stuff' while waiting for Sleep Country Mattresses. You need to conserve the POF o. Money disappears fast. Imagine doing Tyre Alignment at Canada Tire at the rate of CAD110.00. We are living fairly okay at this time despite the fact that neither wifey nor myself is working yet.

JODAV

Thanks for the information. Will get in touch with you soon IJN

Cheers

Men & Brethren,

I posted my landing gist over a week ago and somehow, it didn't feature on this thread. I don't know how that happened. To the glory of God, we have landed in Calgary since June 11 and are trying to settle down. My story is not different from others. No mention of POF at POE. Settlement is another phase in this whole relocation matter. You will forget all the pressure before the PRV as you strive to cope with new way of life here. It has been from one thing to another. In all, it is a place to be. I almost fell prey to one Computer Hacker with Indian ascent when I was trying to get 'awoof' anti-virus. He hacked into my newly bought system. Thank God I have not loaded anything into it. I quickly returned the laptop to Costco and took another one costlier than the one I bought with one-month-free Office and anti virus. One needs to buy Office and antivirus here. We quickly got a car to move us around when we spent over $100 to go out on a single day with yellow cab. Thank God for this forum where we learnt so many things that helped in our settlement efforts. Train and buses are cheaper and available but be ready to waste time especially if you need to connect train through bus. Not even when you have a large but young family. We got free furniture (very good) through Kijiji and bought our car as well through Kijiji at a very good price. In all, It has been an exciting experience. I thank God for giving me this opportunity and appreciate all forumites.

Congrats Jodav3. May you eat the good of the land.

And thanks for the kijiji free furniture tip ;) I have stored that in my 'left hand'

Thanks for this info and congrats on your successful landing. Next testimony: jobs for you and wifey, so that POF can begin its' upward trajectory fast.

Hi everyone

Please is there any form to accompany the RPRF that would be sent to Accra. Will a cover note suffice?

Thanks a lot Airman. Done already.

Hello everyone,

After waiting for 57 days, my AOR finally came yesterday. I'm so happy right now and looking forward to the other steps in the application process. In my opinion, the delay might be due to huge application pool in the FSW scheme this year as the average days for AOR for PNP prior to commencement of FSW this May is 30 days.

Thanks to everyone for your support.
