Dear All,

We thank God the journey that started Oct. 2011 came to successful ending with my family and I landing in Calgary Alberta on 24/04/2014.

We saved about 40% on ticket fare using the IOM option. We flew 6.30Hours via Lufthansa to Frankfurt and 9 hours by Air Canada direct to Calgary.

No hassle at the immigration, no request for POF. The entire process was about 30mins because of the large number of new immigrants that landed with us.

Despite the fact that we are entering the springs, the temperature in Calgary still falls below 0 degree and even snows. Canada cold no be small my people.

All in all Canada promises to be an interest place with loads of opportunities. God has already started his manifold works.

Stay focus my people and don't lose patience your time is around the corner.

Cheers.

Crest

Congrats once again Crest and thank God for journey mercies. Hopefully we should be joining you in Calgary also, God willing. Enjoy Canada

Hello All,

Please I need some advice on how to make d bankdraft payment. Please will it be drawn from my naira account in my bank cos it states that draft should be in canadian dollars for the FSW.

Please I need to know the process so that my application won't be returned. I await your valid inputs.

Thanks,
T.

I will rather advise you use card. I used GTBank Mastercard and it was excellent. Good luck!

Whether your wife will submit educational credentials or not will be determined tomorrow when the full FSW dossier is out (or is it out already?). For instance before 2013 spouse's qualification could earn you points. But for 2013 it became spouse's english. The best thing you can do for yourself (excluding spouse) is to get as much points for yourself in english which you can dictate (because for some criteria like age, education etc, there is really nothing you can do now)

For your payment, I can say I used GT Mastercard and it was excellent.

If you have time, go through older posts in this wonderful forum and you'll never regret you did.

Good luck!

To be on the safe side, u may get another one although I am sure they will ask you why since the one you have is still valid.

Most likely the application fees would be charged before ur current card expires but then at the point of initial screening they may decide to take the validity of the card into consideration... it is better to play safe
