Yes, etike....
It would be easier to raise a draft in my name, but that would be a little clumsy. Let me explain.
You see, I plan to land first, and return to Nigeria within a month, max.
People have said that bank drafts may take up to 2 or 3 months to clear.....that means my money is stuck in a Canadian bank even when I'm back in Nigeria.......
The MasterCard option gives a liquidity and flexibility that's amazing......I spend dollar when I'm there, and naira when am back here...at wonderful exchange rates, whereas, if I took the dollar there, I buy it expensive when I leave Nigeria, spend expensive dollar over there, and convert at a lower rate than I bought when I return....On top of that, buying the draft here will add the delay I talked about earlier...
Assuming I was going for good, I can explore that option, a dollar rate difference of 10 naira will be a difference of 111,150 naira to my proof of funds anyway.....but if I have to come back and change the expensive dollar back to naira......hhhhmmmmmm
The other thing I'm doing is exploring the forum to serif someone else had a similar experience with Busy Bee, or if it was explicitly stated anywhere that MasterCard is acceptable proof of funds....
