@ Ekundapsy, you can get PTA from First bank, that is only if you do not have their master card ATM Card. if you do they wont sell to you. Alternatively you can ask the CSO in the bank to cancel your card details and make it invalid then they sell to you. if its the local verve card you have you dont need to cancel that.

Nope, I operate a current account with a master card with First Bant and got my full PTA.

@ ekundapsy,I had $ 16,000 cash on me and no one asked if I had cash on me although I kept it in my hand luggage and while they physically checked they found no cash on me. With all you have enumerated I strongly believe you will have a seamless landing experience. Above all fret not The Lord had gone ahead of you to Glorify Himself because it's all about HIM.

My own proof of funds is not even up to the 16000 USD you had on you..... but I'd be scared and feel unsafe if I'm carrying that amount of money on me and travelling alone....

Yes, etike....
It would be easier to raise a draft in my name, but that would be a little clumsy. Let me explain.
You see, I plan to land first, and return to Nigeria within a month, max.
People have said that bank drafts may take up to 2 or 3 months to clear.....that means my money is stuck in a Canadian bank even when I'm back in Nigeria.......
The MasterCard option gives a liquidity and flexibility that's amazing......I spend dollar when I'm there, and naira when am back here...at wonderful exchange rates, whereas, if I took the dollar there, I buy it expensive when I leave Nigeria, spend expensive dollar over there, and convert at a lower rate than I bought when I return....On top of that, buying the draft here will add the delay I talked about earlier...
Assuming I was going for good, I can explore that option, a dollar rate difference of 10 naira will be a difference of 111,150 naira to my proof of funds anyway.....but if I have to come back and change the expensive dollar back to naira......hhhhmmmmmm

The other thing I'm doing is exploring the forum to serif someone else had a similar experience with Busy Bee, or if it was explicitly stated anywhere that MasterCard is acceptable proof of funds....
