Hello House......I finally picked up my PRV and COPR on thursday 22nd August 2013 from the Canadian High Commission, Accra. Took off via Arik Air on thursday, my flight was delayed for 45minutes (Was suppose to depart MMA at 7.20am, but eventually took off at 8.05am) but still got to the high commission early enough to submit our passports. I returned to the high commission at 2pm to retrieve our passports only to meet a queue. Eventually I was ushered in by the security guy and at about 3.25pm my name was called to come pick up our Visas. that was the highest point of my whole experience that day, I just could not believe that I finally had the immigrant visas in my hands. I cross checked the details on the passport and CORP/Visas several times to confirm that details on them were all correct before leaving for the airport. I departed kotoka airport via Arik Air at 5.45pm same day and was in Lagos as 7.30pm. Thanking baba GOD for Journey Mercies.................GOD is faithful, thank you Ofonzo, Ojeola,Emperor, Babakura etc for you support and advice all through the application process. I really appreciate.
Congrats. Our God faithful. He will make the land fruitful for all of us that have received and those waiting IJN. There shall be no more delays.

Hi all,
My application for NOC 2134 was received at NS on July 17. Since then I've not heard from CIC. Can the house give idea of of how long on the average it takes to receive acknowledgement of application receipt from CIC and debit of credit card.

Secondly, in my application I included only one addressed envelope since english is our national language. Do you think this will make the application incomplete? Has any one received acknowledgement and debit of card with one envelope submitted?

If I need to send extra envelope, will they accept it?

Has any one use GT bank Mastercard and got it debited by CIC?

If application is returned as incomplete, please what is the procedure for re-submission? Is one going to start afresh or CIC will retain one's old file position.

Please help as this issues are a concern to me.

Thank you all

Hi, dear Egbe.....
Welcomed the forum, and the wait times.
Actually, it is very difficult to predict the timelines, but things are happening pretty fast for the new submissions. I understand that the first immigrants under this year's FSW programme has already been welcomed to Canada. But about 2 year's back, usually takes about 2 months to get a Positive Eligibility Review (PER), and your card is usually charged in about 2 to 6 weeks of submitting your application. But that was 2 year's ago.
I used the GTBank MasterCard for my payment then, too, and there was no problem. I know a lot of people who did.
If your application is incomplete, it will be returned to you IMMEDIATELY after the completeness check, which is done immediately they receive your application, before the eligibility review, so, you should get it back in your mail within the month. If you don't see it by then, you have probably passed the completeness check, and on the queue for eligibility.
As long as you followed the instructions to the letter, you have no problems, just keep your fingers crossed, and visit the forum often, you're on the right track.

Kpopi,

My Oga at the top, I hail thee ;). Thanks for the well wishes. We are encouraged by the successes of people like you, Pa Right, Madam Tinu, Naija Pickin, etc who had landed successfully and challenging us to come over to Canada City.

I appreciate all the subtle word when the waiting was killing and we bless His holy name that at last the PPR has landed.

Thanks my brother and do have a blessed day. 8) 8) 8)
